MICHIGAN REGIONAL CREW ESTABLISHES SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS
at THREE MID-MICHIGAN COMMUNITY COLLEGES
Citing a desire to help young women succeed, Michigan Regional CREW has established scholarship funds at three mid-Michigan community colleges: Lansing Community College, Kalamazoo Community College and Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids. MIRCREW will continue to fund the scholarships on an annual basis from proceeds from the annual golf outing an the annual art auction and wine tasting event. MIRCREW members also ratified a new class of membership with an annual student rate of $25 to allow scholarship recipients and other students the opportunity to network with the successful women of CREW. “We are very pleased to be able to support our communities in this manner,” said Past-President Anne Summerfield, “and look forward to receiving information from each institution about the recipients of our scholarship dollars.”
